This illustration was created for Communities Concerned for Immigrants and Refugees, a non-profit dedicated to providing resources and tools to new immigrants in Kansas City. The purpose of this illustration is to convey the welcoming nature of the city towards those in need of a new home.

Process
After the sketches were approved, I began cutting all the pieces. The background buildings were created using Illustrator and cut with Cricut, while the remaining elements were cut by hand. Once everything was assembled, I photographed the composition. Finally, I refined the image using Lightroom and Photoshop.
